OAKLAND -– After being cleared to play for the first time since Monday, Warriors guard Stephen Curry left after playing only 14 minutes against Denver Saturday night.
Curry’s departure was caused by a contusion on the lower part of his left leg -– the same leg on which a bruised caused him to miss the previous two games -– according to the Warriors.
Curry went through his usual pregame warmup and started. The league’s leading scorer totaled 5 points on 2-of-6 shooting (1 of 5 from 3-point distance) before leaving with 2:16 left in the first half. He did not return.
