Warriors center Damian Jones undergoes MRI on left shoulder after loss

Damian Jones had a tough task going up against Pistons center Andre Drummond on Saturday night, and it took a physical toll on the Warriors' young big. 

Immediately after the Warriors' 111-102 loss in Detroit, Jones underwent an MRI on his left shoulder, head coach Steve Kerr told reporters.

With 5.7 seconds remaining in the third quarter, Jones was forced out of the game early. He was seen grabbing his shoulder after getting tangled up with the 280-pound Drummond. The Warriors ruled him out quickly with a left shoulder strain. 

Jones scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds in 20 minutes played. Drummond dominated the glass with 19 rebounds and 16 points.
