SALT LAKE CITY -- The roster roulette among the Warriors has begun.
With veteran forward Andre Iguodala out with tightness in his left calf, the Warriors on Friday activated Damion Lee prior to facing the Jazz at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Signed in July to a two-way contract, Lee did not appear in preseason games for the Warriors as he recovered from plantar fasciitis in his left foot. He scrimmaged for the first time on Monday.

“He’s had about five days of live action,” coach Steve Kerr prior to tipoff. “He’s not ready for big minutes, but I wouldn’t hesitate to put him out there for a few.”
Perhaps best known as Stephen Curry’s brother-in-law, Lee’s NBA experience consists of 15 games (11 starts) last season with the Atlanta Hawks. The 6-foot-6 Louisville product spent most of the previous two seasons in the G-League, appearing in 54 games, including 38 last season with the Santa Cruz Warriors.
Iguodala likely will be available Sunday, when the Warriors face the Nuggets at Pepsi Center in Denver.
“He’s doing well,” Kerr said. “It’s the second game of the year. If this were a playoff game, he’d play. But we’re just going to be very cautious.”
