
The NBA reportedly is reviewing a courtside video from Staples Center to see if Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo indeed spit on Rockets point guard Chris Paul in Saturday night's game, according to ESPN.

It appears to show spit coming out of Rondo's mouth, which sparked Paul to shove his finger in Rondo's eye before a fight broke out. But there might be a reason why you can see saliva, other than that being Rondo's intention.
Rondo uses a mouthguard, and he's reportedly stating that's why you can see anything come out of his mouth and that he didn't spit on Paul. He's also saying he was provoked to throw the first punch after Paul poked his finger in Rondo's eye, ESPN reported.
