Steph Curry was on another planet this past season.
After missing all but five games in the 2019-20 season, the Warriors star returned to the spotlight and proved he still is one of the game's biggest stars. Curry, 33, did all he could to lead the Warriors to the NBA playoffs, leading the NBA in scoring at 32.0 points per game.
You've surely seen some incredible stats from Curry's season, but two stats in particular highlight just how incredible a shooting season the two-time MVP had.

Curry was absolutely unconscious this season on step-back 3-pointers, knocking down 47.2 percent, according to ESPN's Kirk Goldsberry. Among shooters who took at least 100 step-back 3-point attempts, Curry was the only player to eclipse the 40 percent mark, with Zach LaVine and Jamal Murray coming in tied for second at 36.9 percent. James Harden (36.8) and Damian Lillard (36.0) round out the top 10.
But Curry also was lethal from long, long distance.
According to Goldsberry, of the 19 shooters who took at least 100 triples from beyond 27 feet, only Curry hit on more than 40 percent, knocking down 41.1 percent of his attempts from way downtown.

While Curry's incredible season didn't end with his third MVP award -- Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic took home the hardware -- this season should always be remembered for the incredible run Curry went on, and how he reminded everyone that rumors of his demise had indeed been greatly exaggerated.
