This Steph stat shows why he should bounce back vs. Bucks

Steph Curry struggled with his shot in the Warriors' season-opening loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.

Oddly enough, that shouldn't have been a surprise.

Curry over 11 prior Opening Night games in his career shot 30.5 percent (25-for-82) from 3-point range. And he went 2-for-10 from deep against Kevin Durant and the Nets (he really was 2-for-8 because he missed two heaves from half court).

But history tells us that he should shoot the ball very well on Christmas Day against the Milwaukee Bucks because he has a track record of doing just that.

“I know I can get shots off pick-and-rolls," Curry told the media Tuesday night. "I gotta balance those opportunities and be aggressive. But when I give the ball up and the other team is trying to play high side aggressive making sure I don’t get it back, we (need to) continue to create good offense off of those possessions.

"That's where we can continue to build our chemistry. I gotta be patient and see the floor a little better when I don’t have the ball in my hands.”
