Team USA rebounds from loss to Australia, crushes Canada by 16 points

The United States Men's National Basketball Team is back in the win column.

After suffering their first international loss in nearly 13 years, Team USA beat Canada 84-68 in a pre-World Cup game Monday in Sydney, Australia. 

Celtics guard and former Cal star Jaylen Brown led Team USA with 19 points off the bench. 

"It's going to be good when it comes together, the sky is the limit for this group," Brown said to reporters after the win. 

Kings forward Harrison Barnes started and scored nine points for Team USA. He also grabbed three rebounds, dished two assists and made all three of his free throw attempts.

Barnes averaged 8.5 points over Team USA's four exhibition games.

Team USA, led by Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and Warriors coach Steve Kerr, open World Cup play on Sept. 1 in Shanghai, China against the Czech Republic.
