Kevin Durant shot 16 of 17 from the free-throw line Saturday night against the Kings. Two days later against the Magic, he went 13 for 13 from the charity stripe.
The 30 combined free throws are the most Durant has attempted in consecutive games since Jan. 16-17, 2014, when he shot 20 and 13, respectively.

In 2012-13, he shot a career-high 90.5 percent from the line. This season, the two-time NBA Finals MVP is at 93.1 percent.
"He doesn't miss. But the game really changes for us when he gets there -- double figures," Steve Kerr told Damon Bruce on 95.7 The Game on Tuesday night. "It's not just the free points and the automatic points with him shooting, but it's allowing us to set up our defense. Everybody's defense is better when the offensive team is taking the ball out of the net and you can match up.
"We hear the other team's call just like they hear ours, so we're able to signal what the upcoming play is just based on our scouting. So if you go to the line, all of that stuff comes into play. If you turn it over or you take a bad shot, then you're at a complete disadvantage. So every time Kevin gets to the line, it's a huge help."
It's especially important for Durant to be aggressive when Steph Curry isn't in uniform. Without the two-time MVP, the Warriors don't play as fast and don't have as big a margin for error.

With Durant, the Warriors can somewhat change their style and manufacture points from the line.
"Those free throws are just devastating for the opponent," Kerr said on KNBR 680. "It's the same thing for us in reverse when we play Houston -- the biggest goal is to not let (James Harden) get double (digit) free throws because of the impact that has on the game."
You might be asking yourself -- what's the most free throws Durant has ever attempted over a three-game span?
The answer: 52 in 2014, when he shot 19, 16 and 17 on Jan. 7, 9 and 11, respectively.
