Steph Curry sustained a mild to moderate left groin strain last Thursday against the Bucks. He missed the Warriors' last three games, and the team announced Wednesday that he would be re-evaluated in 10 days.
That means Curry is slated to miss the next five games -- Thursday at Houston, Saturday at Dallas, Sunday at San Antonio, Wednesday against Oklahoma City and Friday against Portland. It's possible that he'll return next Saturday against the Kings.

"It's taking longer than we first anticipated," Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters after shootaround Thursday. "But that's because the original MRI didn't show anything terrible. I think I referred to it as encouraging, but as Rick (Celebrini, the Warriors' director of sports medicine and performance) explained to me, symptoms are the most important thing. And sometimes symptoms and the MRI don't fit -- it's not always going to be perfect. So we're basing this on symptoms.
"Groin injuries are tricky. He's definitely out for the rest of this trip. He's getting better each day, and it's great to have him on the trip while we're going through this adversity that we've hit. Steph is always a guy who smooths out bumps and keeps us rolling, so it's great to have him."
Adversity? What adversity? The Warriors are completely drama free right now (sarcasm font).
Curry is averaging 29.5 points, 6.1 assists and 5.0 rebounds so far this season, while shooting 51.5 percent overall and 49.2 percent from deep.
"We're gonna be very, very careful, and obviously he's gonna need plenty of court time before he returns," Kerr added. "When I say court time, I mean live action. He hasn't had that."
Don't hurry back, Steph. But also ... hurry back.
