Warriors rookie Jordan Poole made his NBA G League debut last Saturday night when the Santa Cruz Warriors played at the Stockton Kings.
The No. 28 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft played for the Sea Dubs again Sunday night against the Texas Legends. Despite the loss for Santa Cruz, Poole scored 27 points in the second half alone -- going 9-for-14 overall and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc.

"It was good to see him play a lot of minutes, get the confidence going in his shot," Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters Thursday after shootaround in Minnesota. "It's a big part of sending him there -- to let him play and just let him feel the game. So I think that part's been good.
"Right now, they've had the last two days practicing and they play again tomorrow. We wanted him to get practice time as well."
But the Dubs didn't send the 20-year-old to Surf City just so he could work on his jumper.
"The big thing we're looking for beyond all of that is making habits -- creating habits -- to simulate everything that we're gonna ask of him up here," Kerr explained. "Boxing out every play, playing with great energy, executing at both ends, understanding schemes and coverages -- all the stuff that rookies have to figure out.

After Friday's game at the Salt Lake City Stars, Santa Cruz doesn't play again until Jan. 3. So it's possible that Poole will be recalled as early as Saturday for Golden State's game against the Detroit Pistons at Chase Center.
But as Kerr told reporters Thursday, there is no timetable for Poole's return to the big club.
