"My mom, by the way, was really upset with me," Kerr said on 95.7 The Game. "She called me the next day and said, 'That was embarrassing, Steven. Don't do that again.' So, it's a one-shot deal. I can't do that again...
"It's only Steven when she's really upset."
Kerr was fined $25,000 by the NBA “for verbal abuse of game officials and failing to leave the court in a timely manner after his ejection.”
Earlier this week, he apologized and acknowledged that he deserved the fine.

On Thursday, he explained what happened.
"I was trying to get one T, and I went out there and I swung my fist at the official trying to get a T," Kerr said. "I was upset that he gave Draymond a T -- I thought that was unwarranted so I wanted to back up my players.
"And I gave the fist pump, and he kicked me out right away. So at that point I was gonna get my money's worth, and I said some words I shouldn't have."
