Steph's most incredible stats from award-winning April

In case you've been living under a rock for the last 35 days or so, Steph Curry put together a historic month of April and was appropriately named Western Conference Player of the Month on Tuesday.

Expect anything different?

With Curry taking home the honors, let's take a quick look back at the impressive stats and records from Curry's April showers.

During his outrageous April, Curry averaged 37.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists while shooting 51.8 percent from the field and 46.6 percent from the 3-point line.

Curry scored 30 or more points in 13 of the 15 games he played in April, which broke Kobe Bryant's record for most 30-point games by a player 33 or older in a single month. He scored 30 or more points in 11 straight games, breaking another one of Bryant's records, and doing so by torching the Philadelphia 76ers for 49 points on April 19.

Those 49 points gave Curry five 40-point games in the month, which also is a record for a player 33 years or older.

The two-time MVP made 96 (!) 3-pointers in April, which, you guessed it, is the most by any player ever in a calendar month. Curry burned the nets at an impressive clip from distance, taking 13.7 3-pointers per game and making them at a 46.6 percent clip. That is an average of 6.4 triples per game. Curry also splashed 15 triples from 30 feet or beyond.

He also made Warriors history, joining Rick Barry and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players to average over 35 points or more in a month of at least 10 games.

To top it all off, Curry had four games in which he made 10 or more 3-pointers. There are only five other NBA players who have multiple games of 10-or-more triples in their careers. Only Klay Thompson has more such games in his career (five) than Curry had in April. Curry now has 21 games with 10-plus 3-pointers in his career.

Oh, and did I mention, he's now the NBA's scoring leader? Not bad for a months' work.
