Steph will play Game 4 of the Finals without any restrictions

BOSTON -- Steph Curry made one thing clear Thursday, one day after hurting his left foot Wednesday night with four minutes remaining in the Warriors' 116-100 loss to the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

"I'm going to play," Curry said to reporters. "That's all I know right now."

As Curry swished 3-pointers Friday at TD Garden during Warriors shootaround, coach Steve Kerr confirmed his star will be fully available in a must-win Game 4.

The news gets even better, too. Kerr doesn't expect any restrictions with Curry, same as it ever was.

"He's feeling well," Kerr said. "Just went through shootaround and says he's good to go."

Curry scored 31 points in the Warriors' loss, going 12-for-22 from the field and making six 3-pointers. He now is averaging 31.3 points through the first three games of the Finals and has made 48.6 percent of his 3-point attempts. Curry already has made 18 3-pointers in the series, which is tied for the most in any three-game span in a single Finals.

The two-time NBA MVP and three-time champion has scored 94 total points. Klay Thompson is the Warriors' second-leading scorer against the Celtics, and he has scored 51 points -- or 43 fewer than his fellow Splash Brother.

Warriors' Draymond Green named 2024-25 NBA Defensive Player of the Year finalist

Have Warriors found perfect rest, rhythm balance entering playoffs?

While fighting for a loose ball, Celtics big man Al Horford, who weighs 240 pounds, fell on Curry's left foot and he quickly screamed in agony and slapped the floor in pain. The injury was to the same foot that he sprained against the Celtics during the regular season on March 16. He missed the final two weeks of the regular season and came off the bench for the first four games of the postseason.

That won't happen this time around.

Curry has carried the Warriors so far in the Finals, and with the Warriors down two-games-to-one, they'll need his all once again -- no matter what percentage of health he's at.

In other injury news, Kerr also said Friday that Otto Porter Jr. will be fully available for the Warriors. The veteran forward landed on the injury report Thursday with left foot soreness. He scored six points and handed out four assists in 21 minutes off the bench two nights ago.

Porter was a team-high plus-4 in the Warriors' Game 3 loss.
