Steph Curry joined exclusive company on Sunday night when he splashed home his 2,500th career 3-pointer.
Only Ray Allen (2,973) and Reggie Miller (2,560) made more trifectas in their respective careers. Following Sunday’s game, Miller gave Curry a congratulatory shoutout on Twitter. The Warriors star responded with a message of his own on Monday night.
Two of the game’s all-time greats showing love to each other. Just another reason you gotta love #NBATwitter.

It’s just a matter of time before Curry surpasses Miller’s career total and he’s on track to become the game’s all-time 3-point leader during the 2021-22 season if he can stay healthy. Not bad considering next year will mark Curry’s 13th in the league. He should have plenty in the tank going into 2022 and beyond, setting him up to be the first player to ever rack up 3,000 3-pointers.
As far as active players go, Curry is trailed by James Harden (2,330) and J.J. Redick (1,891), while LeBron James (1,882) and Klay Thompson (1,798) round out the top five. Everyone will be hard-pressed to keep up with Curry the rest of his career.
