Is Steph Curry the 16th-best basketball player of all time?
The answer is "yes," according to The Ringer's Bill Simmons.
On the most recent episode of his podcast, Simmons named (in order) his top 15 in the "Pantheon."

Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Tim Duncan, Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant, Jerry West, Oscar Robertson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O'Neal, Moses Malone and Kevin Durant.
"And I just think Curry belongs in that group now," he declared. "This is not recency bias. He's had some of the résumé already. The way he shoots the basketball -- it transformed basketball as we know it, it has sent the league in a completely different direction and you could argue he's the most important player of the last 20 years.
"LeBron is the most successful and the best player of the last 20 years, but the impact he [Curry] had on basketball -- it ranks up there with Russell, Wilt, Magic, Bird and Jordan obviously."

Curry is a three-time champion, two-time MVP, two-time scoring leader and the only unanimous MVP in NBA history.
The 33-year-old -- who averaged 37.1 points and 5.2 assists over the Warriors' final 21 games while shooting 44.3 percent from deep on 15.1 attempts -- is one of the three finalists for MVP this season.
"I'm not gonna see another Steph Curry," Simmons said. "Curry is not replicable. Welcome to the Pantheon, Steph Curry."
