Steph, JP go viral with swing dance-like move in Game 3

Swing your partner round and round, all the way to a series lead in the Western Conference semifinals.

That’s exactly what Steph Curry and Jordan Poole did during the Warriors’ 142-112 rout of the Memphis Grizzlies during Game 3 at Chase Center on Saturday night, with the pair making waves on the internet thanks to their savvy footwork on the court.

The pair befuddled Grizzlies defenders with a maneuver that can only be described as a do-si-do, but Curry and Poole weren’t dancing -- they were dominating.

Just as Curry was about to pass by Poole near the hoop on his way to the other side of the court, the Splash Brother and his younger teammate linked elbows and spun in a circle, confounding Ziaire Williams and Desmond Bane as they tried to figure out who they were defending and which way they were going.

The move allowed Curry to swiftly switch directions and cleared the floor for Poole, who charged his way toward open space as Bane frantically chased him.

The tricky dance was just one of countless ways the Warriors impressed on offense Saturday night. They shot 63.1 percent from the field during the dominant win to take a 2-1 series lead.

It’s unclear if the do-si-do was planned or just spur of the moment, but nothing should surprise Dub Nation anymore when it comes to the talent of these two stars.
