Steph jokingly regrets not attempting poster dunks in NBA

Steph Curry has never been known as a prolific dunker by any means. That's OK though because the two-time NBA MVP and three-time world champion will settle for the title of the greatest shooter in NBA history.

Curry, who stands at 6-foot-2 and is known for his acrobatics in the paint, can certainly throw down a dunk if he wanted to. He did exactly that in last year's NBA All-Star Game.

Curry joined NBC Sports Bay Area's Grant Liffmann on the latest episode of Dubs Talk, where he was asked about his dunking ability, joking that he occasionally regrets not throwing one down every once in a while.

"I usually think about it two possessions after, like 'I could have,' " Curry said. "That's the story when the grandparents tell their kids about all the stories from when they were growing up, they embellish a little bit and exaggerate and all that. I have that experience with myself like 'Oh if I was high enough I could have dunked that' or if I got my feet right I could have gone body-to-body. There's a (zero percent) chance that was actually going to happen. But at least my imagination can entertain me from time to time."

Having seen teammates Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II and Juan Toscano-Anderson throw down vicious dunks this season, will Curry be attempting a poster dunk of his own?

"We might be over the hill on that," Curry joked.
