After returning to the Bay for one season with the Warriors, Kent Bazemore is joining the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason.
He also apparently will make Steph Curry cry in the process.
Bazemore made his signing to the Lakers official on Tuesday and solidified that by posting a photo of him with the paperwork on Instagram.

With a purple folder … nice touch.
“LA Vibes on deck! Finally able to soak it all in,” Bazemore wrote. “Grateful for another opportunity to hoop! Back in the purple gold. Feels right. My locker is beside LeBron James for the time being. I’mma leave him some UA hoodies for old times sake. Stay tuned.”
In response, Steph joked tears would fall, despite being happy for his former teammate's next chapter.
“Congrats bro! Gonna cry when I get in the car though,” Steph wrote in the comments.

Bazemore responded with an interesting look into the demand for paper products.
“You haven't seen the spike in the Kleenex stock,” Bazemore responded. “Bulk orders. Love you dawg.”
Upon some research in an article published by NASDAQ, it appears the Kimberly-Clark stock (the company that produces Kleenex and Huggies) has seen a significant growth slump due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the demand for essentials.
Bazemore might be on to something.

Nevertheless, Bazemore decided to take the LA route on a one-year deal, reportedly turning down a longer contract with the Warriors.
The 32-year-old views the Lakers as a title contender, and will be reunited with the team with which he spent the 2013-14 season.
