Steph incredibly knew Klay's early Game 1 3-pointer was wet

Steph Curry is well-known for looking away before his own 3-pointers go in.

It's next-level for him to do it when he isn't even shooting. But that's what happened early in Game 1 of the 2022 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.

Less than three minutes into the opening game at Chase Center on Thursday night, Curry found Klay Thompson on the wing, and the two-time NBA MVP tailed off, not even watching as his Splash Brother shot the ball.

Thompson drained the 3-pointer to give the Warriors an early 8-6 lead.

That was one of Curry's two first-quarter assists against the Celtics to go along with a game-high 21 points on an NBA Finals single-quarter record six 3-pointers.
