Steph in pain after rolling right ankle but stays in Game 5

The Warriors got an early scare in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night when Steph Curry rolled his right ankle while on defense on Luka Dončić.

Curry remained in the game after a timeout, but he was in considerable discomfort.

During the timeout, Curry stretched out his foot with a resistance band and tightened the laces on his shoe.

Curry has dealt with numerous ankle injuries throughout his NBA career but his ability to stay in the potential close-out game has to be a good sign for the Warriors.

If the Warriors are able to wrap up the conference finals on Thursday night, they will have a week off before the start of the NBA Finals on Thursday, June 2, giving Curry time to allow his ankle to heal.
