Curry is in the midst of his eighth season while Bryant finished his career last season after 20 years in the league.
Next on the list is former five-time All-Star point guard Chauncey Billups at 1,830 career made 3-pointers.
In 60 games this season, Curry leads the NBA with 235 3-pointers. He broke his own record last year, draining 402 attempts from beyond the arc.
