Steph Curry ‘not nervous' after suffering groin injury in Warriors' loss

If this was another ankle injury, Steph Curry would be holding his breath. He's been there before, and he knows his body doesn't react well to turning his ankle the wrong way.

Curry left the Warriors' blowout loss to the Bucks on Thursday night with an adductor strain. After coming up short in the third quarter and being forced to head to the locker room, Curry doesn't seem too worried.

This is Curry's first groin injury, and he's "not nervous," as he told Marc Spears of The Undefeated after the loss.

On his nervousness for the future, Curry had three words for Spears.

Curry had his worst statistical game of the season before the injury, scoring a season-low 10 points and missing all four of his 3-point attempts. It was the first time this season that he hadn't scored from beyond the arc.

Curry is averaging 29.5 points and 6.1 assists through 12 games while shooting 49.2 percent from deep.
