Well, there's no doubt about it, the Warriors' big men are getting healthy. That can only mean one thing: The backcourt situation will be addressed soon.
Lou Amundson, who missed the first 20 games of the season because of a dislocated finger, played his first game of the season on Tuesday -- a 105-100 loss at Dallas. Amundson wasn't great in his 12 minutes, but he wasn't bad, either.
He had the mandatory energy, four points, a couple of blocks and a rebound. And if you watched closely, you not only saw Amundson's debut, but you saw Ekpe Udoh bouncing up frequently from his seat behind the bench.

Udoh, who has been out since July because of torn ligaments in his left wrist, is coming back soon. I don't know if that means in the next three days or the next week or two, but he's been banging around now for a week now.
Point is, it's now time to start dealing with the void behind Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry in the backcourt. Quite simply, the Warriors have had zero consistent guard play off the bench.
Rest assured, there will be someone new in town soon to give that a try.

That's probably good news for Warriors fans, but it's not necessarily comforting for Jeff Adrien or Rodney Carney. The Warriors have 15 players on their roster, 13 of whom have guaranteed contracts.

Those two don't.
Someone's going to have to go, and it's not going to be Jeremy Lin. He might be headed toward the D-League, but he's not going to be waived. Won't be Reggie Williams or Charlie Bell, either.
Regardless, what we know is the Warriors have a history of dipping into the D-League to grab a player. They'll be doing that soon.
