The Spurs will be without power forward LaMarcus Aldridge for an indefinitely period of time due to a minor heart arrhythmia, the team announced Saturday morning.
The Spurs issued the following statement regarding the matter:
"The San Antonio Spurs today announced that forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be out for an indefinite period due to an occurrence of a minor heart arrhythmia. All parties have concluded that at the current time it is best for Aldridge to refrain from play until further tests and examinations are completed. The Spurs will provided further updates as appropriate."

The 6-foot-11 player was diagnosed at the end of his rookie season in 2007 with a condition that can cause a rapid heartbeat.
In his second season with the Spurs, Aldridge is averaging 17.3 points and 7.5 rebounds in 58 games.
