Tim Hardaway is headed to Springfield, Mass.
The Warriors legend will join his Run TMC teammates Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole reported Thursday, citing sources.

Hardaway was selected No. 14 overall by Golden State in the 1989 NBA Draft. There, Hardaway, Mullin and Richmond formed the trio known as Run TMC (the initials of the trio's first names and a play on the rap group Run DMC), which helped lead the group's high-powered offense.
His one-on-one and passing skills coupled with Richmond's drives and Mullin's shooting made for a lethal combination that helped the Warriors reach the 1990-91 Western Conference semifinals -- and sell out every home game that season.
Run TMC was the NBA's highest-scoring trio that season, and despite playing together for just two years, the group's popularity has endured over the last three decades.

During the 1990-91 season, Hardaway started all 82 games for the Warriors, where he averaged 22.9 points. He reached 5,000 points and 2,500 assists faster than any other NBA player aside from Oscar Robertson and was the proprietor of the unguardable "Killer Crossover."

Hardaway was a five-time All-Star (1991-1993, 1997, 1998) and made the All-NBA Team once (1997). The former NBA guard played on the Warriors until the middle of the 1995-96 season, when he was traded to the Miami Heat. He went on to play six seasons in Miami, then played for the Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers before retiring from basketball in 2003.
During his six seasons with Golden State, Hardaway appeared in 422 games and averaged 19.8 points, 9.3 assists and 3.6 rebounds.
