The Santa Cruz Warriors are moving on to the semifinals of the G League playoffs after blowing out the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 110-81 on Monday.

Alen Smailagic continued to improve in the Orlando bubble, falling just shy of a double-double. The former second-round draft pick put up 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He also had three assists, one steal and shot 50 percent from the field.

Jeremy Lin was Santa Cruz's steady hand, scoring 12 points, dishing eight assists and had five rebounds. Lin went 5-for-10 from the field and made two of his three 3-point attempts.

The real story of the day, however, was Axel Toupane. The 28-year-old native of France entered the day averaging 17.9 points and 8.0 rebounds. On Monday, he was even better for Santa Cruz.

Toupane led the Sea Dubs with 24 points and 11 rebounds. He went 10-for-13 from the field and 2-for-3 on 3-pointers, finishing the day a plus-25 in plus-minus.

Santa Cruz will face the winner of the Erie Bay Hawks and Lakeland Magic on Tuesday in the semifinals.
