On Thursday afternoon, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver felt the need to apologize to Steph Curry.
So he took to Twitter.
"My bad leaving you hanging, @StephenCurry30. Congrats again on becoming the first unanimous #KiaMVP! -Adam," the commissioner tweeted.

Prior to Wednesday night's Game 5 against the Blazers, Silver presented Curry with his 2015-16 NBA MVP trophy.
As Silver walked over to pick up the hardware, Curry stuck his right hand out to shake hands with the commissioner, but Silver did not notice.
Curry went on to score 14 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter, and the Warriors eliminated Portland with a 125-101 victory.
After the game, the NBA's official Twitter handle sent out the following message:
"Stephen Curry & Adam Silver finally got the dap right!"
Should Curry win a third straight MVP next season, it's safe to assume this won't happen again...
