If you take a look around the internet and check out the various mock drafts, you'll find that St. Mary's guard Mickey McConnell's name is hard to find. First round or second round, it doesn't matter. By all accounts, McConnell is a longshot to get drafted Thursday at the NBA draft.Still, he worked out for the Warriors on Saturday, and his goal is to find his way onto an NBA roster. Whether that's by getting drafted or simply being invited to a team's training camp, McConnell is hoping for a crack at it.RELATED: W's hold workouts with Thompson, Markieff Morris
McConnell has worked out for six teams so far. He said during a post-workout interview that all of his options are open -- from the D-League to going overseas to play.Interestingly McConnell, who was the 2011 WCC Player of the Year, also was drafted by the Dodgers in the 31st round of the June 2011 MLB Draft. For now, baseball will have to take a backseat to basketball.San Jose State shooting guard Adrian Oliver missed Saturday's workout because of personal reasons. Oliver averaged 24.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game last season for the Spartans.
