Warriors forward Kevin Durant will collect his second NBA championship ring on Tuesday, Oct. 16. But his former running mate, Russell Westbrook, may not be there to see it.
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Wednesday that Westbrook underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and will be re-evaluated in four weeks, on approximately Oct. 10.
If Westbrook isn't ready to go in four weeks, it's likely he would miss the season opener against the Warriors.
