Riley Morrison's goal was to change the world for the better, and the 9-year-old from Napa recently did just that.
And her parents are full of pride for what their daughter was able to accomplish.
"She's written a letter, she's used her words, her voice," Megan Lopez, Riley's mom, told NBC Bay Area on Thursday afternoon. "Which we as her parents have really taught her, 'Use your voice to make a change,’ and she is, and we couldn't be more proud of her."

In case you missed it, Riley was looking for Curry 5s in girls sizes, but when she and her dad, Chris Morrison, couldn't find them on the Under Armour website, he told her to write a letter to Curry.
"We visited the site, and we went to the girls page, and my dad, he checked the girls and they still didn't have them," Riley said. "So he checked the boys, and they had them and even to customize. They were like, 'You should write a letter and just try to fix this.' “
Early Thursday morning, Curry responded to Riley's handwritten letter with a handwritten letter of his own, and he tweeted it. The way Curry responded resonated with Riley.
"Steph Curry wrote the letter, and I was really happy it wasn't typed. It was actually hand-written," Riley said.

The gesture from Curry left Riley's dad in awe.
"I'm just so thrilled with Steph Curry and his response and the fact that he made my daughter's day, week, year, millennium. She is over the moon about this," Chris Morrison said.
