During a video conference through the University of San Francisco on Tuesday, Warriors coach Steve Kerr made some noteworthy comments.
"It feels like the end of our season," the eight-time NBA champion said. "We're staying in touch with our guys, but it definitely feels like the season is done for us."
During Wednesday's episode of "The Jump" on ESPN, former Warriors forward Richard Jefferson practiced some stand-up-comedy material in response to Kerr's perspective.

"The funny thing about Steve Kerr saying that they are operating as if their season was over, is that this interview was actually done in November. Soooooo," Jefferson said before laughing. "Understandably, he's talking about the injuries to everyone on their team and what they've been through.
"But yes, their season was over in November. I don't view them as a team to really judge this on."

The Warriors' season ended on Oct. 30 (their playoff hopes that is) when Steph Curry broke his left hand during a loss to the Phoenix Suns. That's two days before November.
