Report: Warriors reach agreement with Steph Curry's future brother-in-law

Steph Curry is going to be teammates with somebody who will soon be a family member.

Damion Lee agreed to terms on a two-way contract with Golden State, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Lee is engaged to Curry's sister, Sydel.

Lee, who will turn 26 years old in October, played in 38 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors last season.

Over his final 11 appearances, he averaged just under 19 points while shooting 41 percent from deep.

After two 10-day contracts with the Hawks, Atlanta signed Lee for the remainder of the season.

He averaged 10.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 15 games (11 starts).

Butler unmoved by emotions, drama before facing Heat in Miami return

Why Butler, Warriors shared mutual initial trade hesitation

Lee played against Golden State on March 23 (the night Curry sustained the Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee), registering 10 points and 8 rebounds.

He spent his first four college years at Drexel (he redshirted in 2013-14 after tearing his right ACL), before spending his final season at Louisville.

Lee went undrafted in 2016 and eventually ended up with the Maine Red Claws (the Boston Celtics' G League affiliate).

He got off to a great start -- averaging 17.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and and 3.4 assists -- but tore his left ACL in late December.

With the addition of Lee, the Warriors have one more two-way contract available.
