The Warriors are searching far and wide right now.

The Athletic's Anthony Slater reported Monday, citing a source, that the Warriors will work out free-agent point guard Ryan Arcidiacono this week. Golden State still has a vacant roster spot, and has worked out a handful of candidates.

Arcidiacono, 27, played 44 games off the bench last season for the Chicago Bulls. He averaged 3.1 points, his lowest since his rookie season, but continued to be a threat from deep. Arcidiacono shot 37.3 percent from 3-point range.

The former undrafted Villanova product has spent four seasons in the NBA, all with the Bulls. He has averaged 4.8 points and is a career 37.3 percent shooter from beyond the arc.

Arcidiacono is the latest backup point guard option the Warriors are considering. They saw Gary Payton II in Summer League, and recently worked out retired veteran Darren Collison
