Report: Pelicans to sign former Warriors guard

It looks like a former Warriors guard found a new home.

Jordan Crawford will sign with the Pelicans, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

On Oct. 20, he registered 13 points and six assists in about 25 minutes vs Golden State.

He was waived the next day and reacted on Twitter:

New Orleans needs some reinforcements in the backcourt because former Warriors guard Ian Clark sprained his ankle on Wednesday night.

The bad news: Clark is expected to miss 5-10 days.

The good news: "It wasn't as badly as we first anticipated," Alvin Gentry told The New Orleans Advocate.

Clark was averaging 12.1 points over his last 12 games, while shooting over 50 percent from the field.

Crawford appeared in 42 games for the Warriors during the 2013-14 season.

In the season finale on April 16, he racked up 41 points (16-for-28) against the Nuggets.
