Now that Steph Curry is under contract with the Warriors for just two more seasons, he is eligible to sign a three-year extension any time before the season starts Dec. 22.
Does he plan on putting pen to paper over the next two weeks?
"We have conversations. Everything's on the table right now," the superstar told the media Monday. "I got to do what's right for me and the team in having those conversations. It's a matter of just letting things play out the way that they should."

Is there a chance the Warriors tell Curry and his representatives they would prefer not to add years to the three-time NBA champion's deal?
"Sources within the organization said they don’t see a scenario in which the Warriors decline Curry’s request for an extension, whenever it comes, even though he could demand an astronomical number at the back end of his career," The Athletic's Marcus Thompson writes.

The two-time NBA MVP will earn $43 million this season and $45.8 million in 2021-22. Here is what a max extension would look like:
2022-23: $48 million
2023-24: $51.9 million
2024-25: $55.7 million
It's important to keep in mind the two sides could agree to terms on a contract below the maximum amount allowed under CBA rules.
Does Curry prefer to lock in that long-term security now? Are there reasons not to sign an extension before the Warriors' season-opening matchup against Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets?
"Not really. It's just more understanding what the landscape is," he said. "We want to be competitive. We want to be in a situation where we're competing for championships every year.
"I want to be a part of that. That's the goal."
