Report: In summer of 2016, Kevin Durant paid six figures to rent house in The Hamptons

Remember when Kevin Durant rented a house in The Hamptons in the summer of 2016?

Well, he paid $100,000 for 10 days, according to Marc Stein and Malika Andrews of the New York Times.

In a feature entitled, "Inside the Hamptons House Where Kevin Durant Hosted Suitors in 2016," we learned that the house is located at 189 Further Lane.

With Durant a part of the Golden State organization, one could say the Warriors are "further" along in their quest for world dominance (sorry for the terrible joke).

The most important part of the article:

The master bedroom, where Durant stayed, features a raised seating area and double doors that open onto a porch. The room has a queen-size bed, but for Durant’s stay arrangements were made to bring in a king size.

Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green were the four Warriors players who traveled to The Hamptons to recruit Durant.

And yes, the five players do have a group text with the name "Hamptons 5." (obligatory shoutout to Tim Kawakami).

Finally, that unit is +56 in 71 minutes during the playoffs.
