Festus Ezeli last took the floor for an NBA game on June 19, 2016, when the Warriors lost in Game 7 of the NBA Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Debilitating knee injuries have derailed a once-promising career, but it appears Ezeli might again be getting on the floor for a live game sooner rather than later.
Ezeli, whom the Warriors drafted at No. 30 overall in 2012, is in quarantine within the G League bubble in Orando, Fla., ESPN's Marc Spears reported citing a league source.

Ezeli will be part of the player pool within the bubble according to Spears, meaning any team competing could conceivably pick the big man up and add him to their roster immediately.
Over three seasons with the Warriors, Ezeli averaged 4.2 points and 4.3 rebounds, and was a key member of the 2015 group that won the NBA Finals.

“I just can’t stop, I just can’t quit before I know the end of the story,” Ezeli said. “That’s what’s driven me to get to this point. If I didn’t have that in me, we would not be speaking right now.”
We'll see whether Ezeli can restart his career in basketball by catching on with a team in the G League bubble, but his contributions to the Warriors won't soon be forgotten.
