Swaggy P could be coming to the Bay Area.

Lakers free agent guard Nick Young is a serious candidate to sign with the Warriors using part or all of their $5.2 million exception, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Young just finished his 10th NBA season and fourth with the Lakers. In 60 games, Young averaged 13.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 25.9 minutes.

A reserve for his first three seasons in Los Angeles, Young was thrust into the starting lineup by new head coach Luke Walton and registered the highest effective field goal percentage of his career (56.4 percent). Young made 40.4 percent of his 3-point field goals.

The 32-year-old is coming off a season in which he made just over $5.4 million.

Drafted in the first round by Washington out of USC in 2007, Young has played for Wizards, Lakers, Clippers and 76ers.
