If the Warriors officially offered Williams a contract, it's safe to assume it was for the veteran's minimum (a little over $2.6 million) and not the $5.9 million taxpayer mid-level exception.

Williams averaged 13.0 minutes over Atlanta's first 15 playoff games, but was thrust into a much bigger role in the Eastern Conference finals when Trae Young got hurt.
