It appears the Warriors might be close to acquiring Danny Green.

Golden State has emerged as a possible trade destination for the Philadelphia 76ers wing, league sources told Marc Stein of The New York Times.

Green -- who will turn 34 years old in June -- is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and the Warriors would have his Bird Rights.

The three-time NBA champion is averaging 9.2 points and 3.6 rebounds this season, while shooting 39 percent from beyond the arc on 6.2 attempts per game.

He went 3-for-8 from 3-point range against the Warriors on Tuesday night.
