Kent Bazemore clearly wanted to return to the Bay Area.
The 31-year-old reportedly agreed to a one-year, $2.3 million contract with the Warriors on Sunday. And he certainly had other suitors.
HoopsHype reported Sunday that Bazemore turned down interest from eight other teams. The veteran wing reportedly drew interest from the Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Hornets. The Suns even had interest in giving Bazemore a two-year deal, sources told HoopsHype.

The lefty averaged 2.0 points per game as a rookie with the Warriors during the 2012-13 season. He then was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in February 2014. Bazemore averaged 8.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Kings last season.
