Jordan Poole was slipping and sliding in the Warriors' 100-94 win over the San Antonio Spurs at AT&T Center on Saturday.
While trying to dribble and waste time with the Warriors up four and under 30 seconds remaining, Poole’s arm sleeve came off after Spurs’ Trey Jones swiped at it.
Poole frantically waved the sleeve around with his off-hand while still dribbling with his right hand before throwing it to the floor and then slipping on it. Jones was initially called for a foul on the play, but it was overturned after a coach’s challenge by the Spurs.

Then, Draymond Green tried to throw the sleeve to the Warriors’ bench. It didn’t go very far.
Poole, meanwhile, laid on the floor for a few seconds after slipping on his own arm sleeve, glancing at the official with a befuddled look.
Poole finished with 18 points, but shot 1-of-11 from 3-point range.

Still, Poole contributed in ways other than field goals, adding eight assists, six rebounds and he knocked down all 11 of his free throws.
It’s the type of game that shows growth for Poole as he develops into an all-around player. Let’s just hope there are no more arm sleeve slips in the future.
