Just when you think you've seen it all in 2021, Kelly Oubre Jr. goes ahead and receives a technical foul for blowing kisses.
Yes, the Warriors wing was called for a tech Monday night against the Los Angeles Lakers after blowing two kisses in Montrezl Harrell's direction.
Oubre knocked down a top-of-the-arc 3-pointer in the second quarter at Staples Center before stunting on Harrell. It's fair to say officials Josh Tiven, Gediminas Petraitis and Jacyn Goble weren't amused.

Oubre has struggled with his shot all season, so perhaps he was over-eager to celebrate as part of a first half in which he scored 16 points (on 6-of-10 shooting and 2-of-5 on 3-pointers).
After all, Oubre's total in Monday's first half was higher than his end-of-game totals from all but three games this season. Oubre set a new season high before the third quarter even ended.

If Oubre believes correlation equals causation, he'll probably take a corresponding technical for blowing a kiss, as long as it means he sets a new season high each time he does it.

Considering the rut he was in to start the season, I think Oubre will take it.
