Kelly Oubre believes his two-way ability can soften the blow of the Warriors losing Klay Thompson for the second straight season. He believes his fire on the court fits in perfectly with Draymond Green. He also has some rough history with his new teammates.
Oubre found himself in the middle of a skirmish with the Warriors in October 2017 when he was a member of the Washington Wizards. He even appeared to land a punch on Thompson's face.

SIGN UP HERE Oubre addressed the situation Monday with Bay Area reporters, and it's clear he wishes it never happened.
"We'll have a conversation -- I definitely still think about things like that," Oubre said. "I'm very remorseful for all the antics and all the nonsense that I was in back in the day.
"But we move forward, we grow and we live and we learn."
The brawl began after Green and Bradley Beal, Oubre's former teammate, got tied up, and the scrum spilled into the seats at what was then Oracle Arena. Oubre was just 21 years old at the time. You can't blame him for sticking up for his teammate, even if Thompson didn't deserve to get involved in the ugly situation.

It's clear Oubre has moved on from the fight while still learning from his mistakes. His answer no doubt is exactly what the Warriors should want to hear. This is a player who has performed better and better every year he has been in the NBA, and he clearly wants to win.
He'll fit right in with his new teammates, including Klay and Draymond.
