NBA players send prayers to Klay after workout injury

The Warriors are holding their breath regarding a leg injury suffered by Klay Thompson during a Wednesday workout in Southern California.

But the initial word coming out of Thompson's camp doesn'tΒ sound promising.

NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole traded text messages with Mychal Thompson, Klay's dad, and the tone of them was "quite sober."

The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears spoke to an NBA source who said Thompson's injury was "not good."

Support from Thompson's NBA peers poured in after news of his injury surfaced.
