Warriors guard D'Angelo Russell is trending in the wrong direction.
The 23-year-old finished with the ninth-most votes among Western Conference guards in the second returns of NBA All-Star voting, the league announced Thursday.
D-Lo, who has missed five straight games because of a right shoulder contusion, placed sixth in the first returns last week.

As the NBA's press release states:
Fans account for 50 percent of the vote to determine the 10 starters for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place at the United Center in Chicago on Sunday, Feb. 16. All current NBA players and a media panel each account for 25 percent of the vote, with every voter completing one full ballot featuring two guards and three frontcourt players from each conference. Voting for fans, players and media will conclude on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 20 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Russell is averaging a career-high 23.3 points per game this season, to go along with 6.0 assists and 3.4 rebounds.
