NBA All-Star voting: Steph Curry fourth among Western Conference guards

Basketball fans have not forgotten about Steph Curry.

The first returns for NBA All-Star voting were released Thursday, and the Warriors superstar received the fourth most votes (191,149) among Western Conference guards.

Not bad for a guy who only has played in four games this season, and will be sidelined until February at the earliest following two surgeries to repair a broken left hand.

Golden State guard D'Angelo Russell -- who will miss his second straight game Thursday night with a right shoulder contusion -- isn't too far behind the two-time NBA MVP as he registered 122,499 votes.

Klay Thompson and Draymond Green did not crack the top 10 in their respective categories.

Fans account for 50 percent of the vote to determine the 10 starters for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place at the United Center in Chicago on Sunday, Feb. 16. All current NBA players and a media panel each account for 25 percent of the vote, with every voter completing one full ballot featuring two guards and three frontcourt players from each conference. Voting for fans, players and media will conclude on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 20 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
