
During the first half of the All-Star Game, Klay Thompson scored a game-high 15 points.
He went 5-for-10 from the field and 5-for-9 from deep.
On Tuesday, Mychal Thompson appeared on KNBR 680 for a radio appearance. The host, Tom Tolbert, opened things by simply saying: "Mychal, what's going on?"

Klay's father used the question as an opportunity to lament the fact that Klay only got one shot in the second half.
"Sitting there at that game on Sunday, Tom, and you know -- you've played in this league, you've been around guys, you've been hot yourself, you know what it is when you get into that zone and the basket looks like a hula hoop.
"Klay got into that zone and he got one shot in the third quarter. Are you kidding me? One shot!"
These comments come just a few days after Klay appeared on the Woj Pod, and said the following:

"Not really. Oh geez. I sound like LaVar Ball now," Mychal told KNBR. "I saw Klay when he was in high school -- he could be a Hall of Famer. And he would look at me, with that crazy look in his eye, like 'Yeah, right. What are you talking about Dad.'
"And I said, 'Klay, with the way you can handle the ball, your basketball IQ and with your shot -- if you keep working hard and be willing to listen and willing to be coached -- you're gonna go to the Hall of Fame.' I told him that and he's on that path right now."
