A training camp casualty resulting from the Warriors' improved depth, Mychal Mulder has caught on with another NBA team.
The Orlando Magic announced Tuesday that they have signed Mulder to a two-way contract.

Mulder, 27, appeared in 60 games (six starts) last season with Golden State, averaging 5.6 points in 12.8 minutes per contest while shooting 44.9 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from 3-point range. He was named to the 2021 NBA Rising Stars World Team.
Ironically, Mulder might have traded places with the player who replaced him. The Warriors signed Jeff Dowtin last week to fill their open two-way spot, and Dowtin spent the preseason with the Magic, including hitting the game-winning shot in their final exhibition game. Mulder had been a potential candidate to fill that role, but now he will do so for Orlando.

Per NBA rules for the 2021-22 season, a player under a two-way contract will be permitted to be on the NBA team’s active list for no more than 50 games during the regular season, with no limit on practices, workouts or other activities with the NBA team.
