Moses Moody took a brutal hit to the face on Tuesday in the Warriors' 129-114 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center.
Midway through the first quarter, the Warriors rookie left the game with a left eye contusion after taking an elbow to the face from Wolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters after the game that Moody's left eye is "swollen shut."

"He got poked in the eye," Kerr explained. "I think he got elbowed by Towns on the drive, and he went up to go vertical and he got elbowed in the eye. And it's pretty bad -- his eye is swollen shut."

Moody was off to a nice start in the game before his injury, as he went 2-for-2 from the field, including a triple. He finished with six points and an assist in seven minutes, and left with the Warriors winning by three.

With Moody on the bench and the Warriors already missing Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, James Wiseman, Andre Iguodala and Nemanja Bjelica, the Dubs finished the rest of the game with only nine healthy players.
